This exemption permits for persons who previously held a UK issued Part-MED medical certificate. Who because of BREXIT moved their licence and Medical to another EASA Member State, and have retained an EASA medical, to have a UK Part-FCL licence issued, prior to regaining a UK medical. The aim is to reduce the time it takes for such individuals to become operational on G registered aircraft. It should be noted that a UK Part-FCL cannot be used unless the individual holds a valid UK Part-MED Medical Certificate.
