The CAA has previously issued industry exemptions ORS4 No.1532 and No.1533, enabling EASA- participant -state Part 66 engineers (EASA Part 66 licence holder) to apply for a UK Part 66 licence until the end of the transition period on 31 December 2022. Due to delays in obtaining the required records, including verifications from the EASA participant state, a considerable number of engineers have not yet obtained their UK Part 66 licence.
