The exemption provides that operations without an assured safe forced landing to the London Heliport (EGLW) may be conducted under the provisions of Chapters 3 and 4 of Section 2 of Annex IV of the Air Operations Regulation (operations in Performance Classes 2 and 3) without the requirement to implement a Usage Monitoring System (UMS) in order to obtain and maintain an approval from the competent authority in accordance with CAT.POL.H.305. The exemption is issued to meet operational needs of a limited duration and to allow compliance with the regulations to be progressed. This exemption supersedes ORS4 No. 1086 which is revoked.
