The purpose of this ATSIN is to inform ATS providers of the CAA’s revised regulatory position and associated service provision considerations when volumes of airspace, within which services are provided by UK regulated ATS providers, are predicted to be contaminated by volcanic ash. The information contained has also been provided to Aerodrome Operators via NOTAL and to Airline Operators via FODCOM.
