Medical certificates: apply, renew and revalidate

Medical certificate applications are handled by the doctor who performs your medical examination.

Medical certificate applications are handled by your Aeromedical Examiner (AME) or your GP. You will have to undergo a medical examination and if you meet the necessary requirements you will be given your medical certificate by the doctor examining you.
