Forms used for the various transactions on the UK Register of Aircraft Mortgages are as follows:
- Search of the UK Register of Aircraft Mortgages form
- Entry of Aircraft Mortgage form
- Entry of Priority Notice form
- Change in Particulars form
- Discharge of Registered Mortgage form
- Debit card or credit card authorisation form
Please note
These forms should be completed online and submitted with payment through the CAA Portal.
If all the relevant information has been submitted as scanned documents there is no requirement to send in hard copy originals.
Emailing forms
To return by email, please send to aircraft.reg@caa.co.uk.
If you are submitting forms via email the payment form CA02 must be submitted at the time.
Hard copy returns
If you are submitting forms in hard copy please send them to the Aircraft Registration Section.

The charges are formally detailed in the Official Record Series 5 (Aircraft Registration, ‘E’ Conditions Declarations, Registration of Aircraft Mortgages and Aircraft Dealer Certification).

Charge for entry of Aircraft Mortgage
Charges depend on the maximum take-off weight of the aircraft that is the subject of the mortgage. To verify the weight of a particular aircraft please see the G-INFO UK Register database.

If one mortgage covers several aircraft, the fee payable is as shown above for the heaviest aircraft, plus £223.00 for each additional aircraft. This is based on all the aircraft mortgages being submitted at the same time.

There is no charge for a Discharge of Registered Mortgage.

The charge for a change in the particulars of the mortgage is £46 per mortgage.

How we use your information
The UK CAA's Shared Services Centre collects and stores your name, address, email address and telephone number to fulfil the CAA’s obligations in respect of the Mortgaging of Aircraft order 1972.

Who sees your personal information and why
We need to share your personal data with CardStream and Worldpay, based in the UK, for the purpose of processing payment. The processing of your personal data is necessary for the purposes of our, or our third party's contract and does not affect your fundamental rights and freedoms as a data subject.
The system used to process your information is supported by CGI, based in the UK, and they have routine access to your information to provide services to us.
In accordance with the CAA's obligations under the Mortgaging of Aircraft order 1972 any person may, on application to the CAA and on payment to it of the appropriate charge inspect any entry in the Register specified in the application.
How long we keep your personal information and why
We retain your personal information as part of our permanent UK Register of Aircraft Mortgages to fulfil our obligations under the Mortgaging of Aircraft order 1972.
