To ensure that, as commercial and other pressures increase, there is no reduction in the priority attached to safety, nor any dilution of the skills available in aviation operations at executive management level, the Aerodrome Policy Department of the CAA worked to identify the key areas of operational safety competence for aerodrome licensees and certificated aerodrome operators.
Edition 3.1 includes updates to CAP references and corrections to legal references.
