This is a draft of the guidance document that supports the new process for assessing airspace changes.

In March 2016 the CAA consulted on the principles of a new process that we were proposing. In October 2016, we published our report (CAP 1465) on that consultation and set out how we would change the new process.

This draft guidance defines how the new process will work in practice. We are inviting views on whether the guidance is appropriate – including whether our description of the states of the process is comprehensible, transparent and proportionate.
